Justin Dye is a visionary business leader and private equity investor with over 30 years of experience in strategic management, mergers & acquisitions, operational transformation, and corporate finance. As Managing General Partner at Dye Capital & Company, he has led over $60 million in investments across diverse industries, including retail, commodities, real estate, and technology, driving long-term value creation and growth.
Previously, Justin played a pivotal role in the acquisition and transformation of Albertsons, Inc., as part of a private equity consortium. Under his leadership, Albertsons expanded from $10 billion to over $60 billion in sales, driven by strategic acquisitions, cost synergies, and a decentralized operational model. His expertise in M&A, financial restructuring, and governance has resulted in over $40 billion in acquisitions, divestitures, and real estate transactions, positioning companies for sustained success.
Beyond Albertsons, Justin has held senior leadership roles at Cerberus Capital Management, General Electric (GE), and Arthur Andersen LLP, providing strategic oversight, financial advisory, and operational improvements across various industries. He has also played key roles in private equity-backed business transformations, including leading New Seasons Market’s restructuring, which resulted in 65% EBITDA growth and a successful $280 million exit.
Justin serves on multiple corporate and advisory boards, including as Chairman of Schwazze, Executive Chairman of Bloom Montana, and Chairman of Tella. Additionally, he is a Board of Trustees Member at DePauw University, contributing to its investment, enrollment, and marketing committees.
